How to play:
In Lowball 2-7 the blinds are used and often the ante, the blinds begin with the player to the left of the dealer who must bet the small blind obligatorily and the player who is to the left of this is forced to bet the big blind . Before playing all players must pay the ante beforehand before handing out the cards.
Then five cards are dealt to each of the players which remain hidden to the others. And then the betting round begins, the player has 3 options to bet, raise or fold. Players in the game have the option of “Discard”, with which they can change the cards they wish for new ones at random, they can discard from one to 5 cards. You can also opt for the “Do not discard” option. After the discard round, a new betting round begins, if more than one player is left, the showdown is made, and then the player with the best hand wins the pot.
Single Draw Strategy from 2 to 7
To understand more easily how to play this mode of poker, you must keep in mind that in the Single Draw 2-7 does not favor our game pairs, trios, stairs and colors; Because the base of the game is based on getting cards of different values and different sticks as low as possible without forming a ladder and without aces, since this always has the highest value of the cards.
When we play the turn we can discard the highest cards in our hand, those that are repeated too. If our game improves when we receive the replacement cards, we can leave it that way, or else continue to change cards until we get a game as close to the nuts (7, 6, 5, 3, 2) if you risk too much, Have nuts to win; For example if we have a game similar to (9, 6, 5, 4, 2) we can stop there since it is a good game.
